• Paid time offJob DetailsWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Accounting to join our dynamic and growing healthcare organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all accounting and financial activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, billing, and revenue cycle management.Key Responsibilities:
  • Directing and supervising all accounting and financial activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, payroll, and tax compliance.
  • Managing and overseeing the revenue cycle process, including billing, collections, and reimbursement.
  • Establishing and maintaining an effective financial reporting system that provides timely and accurate financial information to the executive team.
  • Developing and monitoring budgets and financial forecasts, identifying variances between budget and actual results and determining the cause of such variances.
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable accounting and financial reporting standards and regulations.
  • Managing and overseeing the preparation of all financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the finance department.
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports, analyses, and recommendations to the executive team and board of directors.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, such as regulatory agencies, auditors, and financial institutions.
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all financial matters.Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master's degree or CPA preferred.
    • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in healthcare accounting and finance, including experience in a leadership role.
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles and standards.
    • Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, billing, and revenue cycle management.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong leadership skills and a track record of building and managing high-performing finance teams.
    • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
