Job DescriptionThe Corporate Service Assistant Manager coordinates project management, facilities, equipment, physical security and purchasing functions for the Bank. The Corporate Service Assistant Manager should have a thorough understanding and working knowledge of construction; renovation; maintenance of buildings, grounds and equipment; physical security and purchasing. The Customer Service Assistant Manager should to assist in satisfy internal customers and manage vendors/suppliers.Duties and Responsibilities:• Project manager for all new construction and renovations.• Assist in managing all property leases.• Assist in overseeing the maintenance of all buildings, grounds, fixtures, and equipment.• Assist in maintaining the Bank's security and surveillance systems.• Coordinates the decorations for construction projects along with supervisor.• Assists in preparing the Corporate Service budget for Executive Management and Board of Director approval.• Reviews invoices for accuracy and approves for payment. Amounts over approval authority are sent to supervisor for approval.• Develops and updates department procedures.• Interfaces with internal auditors during their audits or special reviews of the Bank. Provides or ensures timely responses to all findings and/or recommendations resulting from internal audits.• Maintains effective communications with all departments with regard to facilities and purchasing issues, to help foster a high level of awareness of requirements among all personnel.• Administers the Corporate Services Department requirements under the Bank's disaster recovery and contingency plans.• Available to be on call on nights and weekends.• Assist in Purchasing of supplies and equipment. • Other duties and projects as assigned.Qualification Requirements:

  • High School diploma; some experience in maintenance and physical and fire security is preferred.
  • The position generally requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience of, facilities management, physical security and real estate. Bank setting preferred.
  • Leadership and change management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively work in both independent and team-oriented environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work well with all levels of management, staff, internal and external vendors.
  • Must be well organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and multi-task.
  • Must be able to travel to the office, customer locations, business meetings and training sites as needed. Must be available after hours and weekends.
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (Physical security system experience a plus)
