I have an amazing opportunity to work for premiere Long Island company who is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant. Our client is seeking a detailed oriented individual, who is energetic and thrives in fast paced environment. You will be responsible for target costing, margin analysis. You will be responsible for data collection, inventory, and process improvement and automation. To be considered for this opportunity you must have a Bachelors in Accounting/Finance 3+ years of accounting experience is a must. Responsibilities --- Conduct process constraint analyses and improvement opportunity analyses--- Coordinate Physical inventory counts and cycle counts--- Performs standard cost accounting to capture costs associated with production--- Investigate cycle counting variances and proactively resolve issues--- Track inventory and assist with inventory audit Qualifications--- Bachelors in Accounting--- 3+ years of cost accounting experience out of Manufacturing--- Strong Excel Skills ( Vlookup, Pivot Table)o SOX If this position sounds like you, don't delay.
